Aperit FM

Aperit FM is a local station in Kapenguria, the West Pokot county headquarters, aimed at listeners in and around the town. It is reported to broadcast on 93.0 FM in Kapenguria, with a format built on entertainment, information, news and talk.

Little else about the station is public. We could not find a station website or social media pages that we could confirm, and we have not been able to establish who owns it, when it started, or which language it mainly uses, so those details are left blank here rather than guessed.

For a small community station this is common. Many local broadcasters in the North Rift keep a low profile online and are better known through word of mouth, local events and call-in shows than through the web. Kapenguria also has other local stations, including Kokwo Radio and North Rift Radio, so listeners in the area have several local choices.

If you run Aperit FM or know its presenters and shows, the station's own details are the most useful thing missing from this page.

To listen, try the player on this page, which streams over mobile data or Wi-Fi. In Kapenguria, try 93.0 FM, though the frequency is unconfirmed. If the stream is silent, the station may be off air for the night or between programmes, so try again later.
