Campus Radio Kenya

Campus Radio Kenya is a Nairobi internet station made for university and college students, playing hip-hop, Afrobeats, dance and urban hits mixed with youth talk. Its tagline is "Live It Up!", and it is run under College Media Group Ltd.

There is no FM signal. The station streams online and through its own apps for Android and iOS, so students can listen in hostels, on campus Wi-Fi or from abroad. It is not connected to university-run FM stations such as KU Radio at Kenyatta University or Shine FM at Daystar University, even though people sometimes use "campus radio" for all of them.

A recent playlist shows the sound: Blinky Bill, Bensoul and Bien, Burna Boy, Davido, Olakira with Zuchu, and international R&B from artists such as Kehlani and Swae Lee. Kenyan and Nigerian tracks sit side by side with American hits.

The weekly schedule includes Yellow Tape on Monday mornings from 10am, House Session on Monday afternoons, the drive-time #Camp_US from 4pm to 7pm and The Drop from 7pm to 10pm. Tuesday brings Listening Session in the late morning and The Courtside in the evening. House of Fashion airs on Wednesday mornings, and The Lost Frequencies runs on Saturday nights from 7pm. Talk segments cover campus life, relationships, fashion and mental health. The station also runs a blog and rents out a recording studio in Gachie, off Redhill Road.
