Ejok FM

Ejok FM is a Turkana-language station, reported to be on 87.9 FM, aimed at Turkana-speaking listeners in north-western Kenya. Ejok is a Turkana word meaning good.

Turkana County covers a huge area of north-western Kenya, and its main town, Lodwar, is the centre of local broadcasting there. Radio matters in a region where distances between settlements are long. KBC's Eastern Service also carries programming in Turkana, and stations such as Hossana FM have broadcast on the Lodwar dial.

That said, we could not verify Ejok FM itself. We have found no record of the station's owner, licence, launch date, studio location or programmes. The 87.9 FM frequency has not been confirmed.

Because of that, we have left the owner, launch and location fields blank, and we have not listed presenters or shows. We would rather publish a short, accurate page than one filled with guesses. If you run Ejok FM or listen to it, the details we most need are the licence holder, the town it broadcasts from and its current frequency.
