Eldas FM

Eldas FM is a Kenyan community radio station. We have not been able to verify it, so this page is short and sticks to what can be said with confidence.

The name matches Eldas, a constituency in Wajir County in north-eastern Kenya. If the station is based there, its likely audience would be Somali-speaking pastoral communities, the same listeners served by stations such as Wajir Community Radio, which first broadcast in May 2010 in Somali, Borana and Swahili. But nothing we have found ties Eldas FM to Wajir, so treat that as a lead rather than a fact.

We have found no record of Eldas FM's owner, licence, frequency, studio location, language or launch date. We have left all of those fields blank and have not listed presenters or shows.

There is a similarly named South African station, Eldos FM, in Johannesburg. It is a different station, and if you are searching online you may come across its pages first.

If you run Eldas FM or listen to it, the details we most need are the town it broadcasts from, its frequency and the organisation that holds its licence. For now, the stream on this page is the best way to check whether Eldas FM is live.
