Hope FM

Hope FM is a Christian station from Christ is the Answer Ministries (CITAM), playing gospel music and Bible teaching for Nairobi listeners in English and Swahili. It broadcasts on 93.3 FM.

The church launched the station in 2003. Hope TV followed in 2016. Both sit under Hope Media, which describes itself as a ministry of CITAM and also runs Hope Studios, a recording facility, and a creative unit. The Communications Authority's June 2026 register shows CITAM holding the station's commercial FM licence, granted on 24 January 2019.

The core audience is church-going families. Gospel music fills much of the day, between teaching, talk shows and news and current affairs, with segments for children and young people as well as adults. CITAM runs several branches across Kenya and also owns schools, Pan Africa Christian University and hospitality businesses, so the station has church backing alongside its advertising.

Hope FM made the news when its signal was hijacked. The usual programming vanished late one night, replaced by religious material that had nothing to do with Hope FM. A government cybercrime source said the frequency had been tampered with. Regular programming later returned.
