The name translates loosely as the voice of the Mugikuyu, and the station is aimed at Kikuyu speakers who want to hear their language online. Nothing we found connects the two, so treat them as separate until one of them says otherwise.

That suggests Mugambo wa Mugikuyu is an internet station rather than a licensed FM broadcaster, though we cannot confirm it. For Kikuyu-language FM radio with verified details, listeners in Murang'a and Nairobi also have Kameme FM, Inooro FM and Gukena FM on the dial.
