Nenyon FM

Nenyon FM is a Kalenjin-language station in Kericho, playing contemporary and traditional Kalenjin music with news for listeners in Kericho, Bomet, Nandi, Nakuru and Narok. It broadcasts on 104.3 FM and has also been linked to 104.2 FM. Studios are on Moi Highway in Kericho town.

The station is the work of Martin Kosgey, a former Citizen TV journalist who covered Bomet and Kericho counties as a correspondent for Royal Media Services. He left to start his own station, and by May 2022 he had opened Nenyon FM. He is one of several journalists who quit their jobs to build their own radio stations, and Nenyon has gained a big following in the Rift Valley. The company behind it is Nenyon Media Services.

Kalenjin radio is competitive, with Kass FM, Chamgei FM and KBC's Kitwek FM all chasing the same audience. The station puts its focus on the southern Rift, around Kericho and Bomet.

Kosgey has also announced plans for Nenyon TV. We have not seen confirmation that it has launched. We have not found a current presenter list for the radio station, so no shows are listed. Kosgey remains the public face of the station.
