North Rift Radio

North Rift Radio is a Kapenguria-based station for listeners across the North Rift, and it goes by the slogan 'Mimi Na Wewe'. Its output is described as news, live events and entertainment for the region, and it is said to broadcast in Swahili.

Two frequencies are given for it, 104.5 and 104.9 FM, both in Kapenguria. We have not been able to confirm which is correct, or whether the station uses both, so we show both rather than picking one. If you are tuning in on a radio in West Pokot, it is worth trying both.

We have not found a website, an owner, a launch date or named presenters for North Rift Radio. Those gaps are normal for small regional stations, but they mean this profile sticks to the basics. The slogan, which translates as 'me and you', suggests a station that wants to feel close to its audience, and the mention of live events points to outside broadcasts and community gatherings, though we do not have dates or examples.

Kapenguria listeners also have Aperit FM and Kokwo Radio, so North Rift Radio is one of several local options in the town.
