Jakes Nyanjom is a Homeboyz Radio presenter who hosts the station's Drive Show, where his co-presenter in 2026 is Chunkz. In September 2026 he was still the Drive Show host, on air with Chunkz in the studio.
He rose quickly at the station. He started as an intern looking after the company's social media pages, then hosted the late-night show from midnight to 5am, Monday to Friday. In May 2024 Homeboyz moved him to the Drive Show alongside Lotan, replacing Kerry Martin, who left after about nine years. He was 18 at the time, and he was described as the youngest radio presenter in the country.
Nyanjom studied mass media and communication at Daystar University. He grew up in Kilimani and Jamhuri in Nairobi. He has said his interest in broadcasting came from going along to the studio as a child with his mother, Joyce Gituro, a former Radio Citizen presenter, and he first became known online for comedy skits with her.
He also releases music. In late 2024 he put out "Ma Barbie", a gengetone and Arban-style single produced by Mavo On The Beat, followed by "Rat Race" and "Trust the Process".
