Radio Arise

Radio Arise is a Christian community station, reported to be on 89.5 FM. Beyond that, we have not been able to verify the station, so this page sets out what is known and what is still open.

The name fits a faith station. What we cannot tell from the frequency alone is where it broadcasts. 89.5 FM is one of the busiest numbers on the Kenyan dial. Ghetto Radio is on 89.5 in Nairobi, and Radio Maria in Kisumu, MBCI Radio in Nakuru, Abiengo FM in Kakamega, Hossana FM in Lodwar and Radio Salaam's Garissa transmitter use the same figure. Low-power stations can share a frequency when they are far apart, so Radio Arise could be in any region that does not overlap with those.

We have found no record of Radio Arise's owner, licence holder, town, language or launch date. We have left those fields blank, and we have not listed any presenters or shows. We would rather publish a short, accurate page than fill it with guesses.

If you run Radio Arise or listen to it, the details we most want to add are the church or organisation behind it, the town it broadcasts from and its main programmes.
