Radio Quran

Radio Quran is an Arabic-language stream of Quran recitation that runs around the clock, for Muslim listeners who want to hear the Holy Quran read aloud at home, at work or while travelling.

The format is simple. There are no talk shows, adverts or music programmes listed, only recitation of the Quran in Arabic. That makes it a good companion for study, memorisation, quiet reflection or listening during Ramadan, when many families keep recitation playing through the day and into the night.

We were not able to verify who runs this stream or where it is produced. There is no known Kenyan station of this exact name with a confirmed owner, studio or FM licence, and several international stations around the world use the same name. For that reason this page does not give an owner, a launch date or a schedule of reciters.

Listeners looking for Kenyan Islamic radio with local programming, sermons and community announcements as well as recitation have other options. Iqra FM, on 95.0 FM in Nairobi, describes itself as Kenya's pioneer Islamic radio station, and Radio Rahma, which also streams online.

Radio Quran has no confirmed FM frequency, so it is best heard online. To listen, press play on this page and the recitation stream will start straight away.
