Radio Togotane

Radio Togotane is a community radio station in Migori County, reported to broadcast on 88.3 FM. Its audience is local: listeners in and around Migori town in South Nyanza, close to the Tanzanian border.

It is described as a community station carrying entertainment, news and talk. The 88.3 frequency has not been confirmed on air. Community stations in Kenya are licensed to serve a defined local area, usually with a low-power transmitter, so its signal is likely to be strongest close to its studios.

That is close to everything we can confirm. We have not found a reliable record of who runs Radio Togotane, when it went on air, which languages it uses, or what its programme schedule looks like. Migori's main local languages are Dholuo, Kuria and Kiswahili, but we have not been able to confirm which of them the station uses. Nor have we found an official website or any recent sign that it is still broadcasting.

We have left the owner, language and launch fields blank rather than guess, and have not listed any presenters or shows. If you know the station, the details we most need are the licence holder, the language and the current frequency.
