SaSa Radio

SaSa Radio is a commercial FM station connected to Bungoma, licensed to Western Television (TV) Company Limited. It is aimed at listeners in western Kenya, where its licence holder is based.

The Communications Authority of Kenya's registers for July and November 2024 both list the SaSa Radio licence under Western Television (TV) Company Limited, with the company's address in Bungoma. The licence category is commercial FM, which means it is run as a business with advertising, rather than as a community or campus station.

That is the extent of what we can verify. SaSa Radio is reported to broadcast on 92.0 FM, but neither the regulator nor the station has confirmed that figure. We also do not know the main broadcast language. In Bungoma that could be Swahili, Lubukusu or a mix, but we have not seen the station say so. We have not found a launch date, a website, presenters or show names.

Sasa means 'now' in Swahili, a common name for a station that wants to sound current. If you listen regularly and know the station's presenters or flagship shows, those are the details we would most like to add.

To hear SaSa Radio wherever you are, use the player on this page. In Bungoma, try 92.0 FM, though the frequency is unconfirmed.
