Musyi FM on 103.6 FM
Musyi FM is the Kikamba-language station from Royal Media Services, made for Kamba listeners in Ukambani, Nairobi and the coast. In Nairobi and Machakos it sits on 102.2 FM.
The name means 'home' in Kikamba, and the slogan, 'Thome wa Mukamba', carries the same idea: the station wants Kamba listeners to feel they are among their own. The content mixes news, talk, comedy, sport, business and educational features, with a stated aim of keeping Kamba language and culture alive.
A weekday on Musyi starts at 4am with Masuiluni, an inspirational early show. The breakfast programme Waamukata follows from 6am to 10am and is the station's flagship. Later come Ikya Kw'oko mid-morning, Kiingane for younger listeners, Sembasemba on the evening drive, and Kiwe Kyotuku, the 'night whisper', after dark.
