Alex Kinyua is a Muuga FM presenter who co-hosts Mwenjoyo, the Royal Media Services station's weekday afternoon youth show, with Elaine Mukami. Fans call him TesaTesa, a name that comes from his love of sport, and he is also the voice behind Ntherano Bienini, Muuga FM's weekly sports magazine.

He entered the media in 2014 as an intern and began as a television reporter at the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation before moving to radio a year later. He joined Royal Media in 2015. Since then he has worked across news, sports and continuity presenting. He holds an undergraduate degree in Journalism and Media Studies and has been writing on politics, conflict, crime and sport since his campus days in 2013.

Mwenjoyo runs from 1pm to 4pm, Monday to Friday. It is built around youth empowerment, entertainment and the promotion of local talent from the Meru region. Kinyua's stated aim is to show young people that they can make a living from what they love, including music and art.

On Saturdays he moves to sport. Ntherano Bienini airs from 4pm to 8pm and covers sports news and events, and his commentary in Kimeru is a large part of why listeners know him. Off air he works as a scriptwriter, MC, videographer and motivational speaker. His place on Mwenjoyo has not been confirmed for 2026.
