CT Muga

CT Muga is a co-host of The People's Breakfast, the 6am to 10am morning talk show on Radio Generation, which broadcasts on 88.8 FM in Nairobi. He shares the show with Munga'la Mbuvi, and the station was still streaming episodes billed under both their names in October 2026.

His real name is Charles Muga. Before Radio Generation he spent close to six years at Standard Group's Spice FM, co-hosting the morning talk show The Situation Room with the journalist Eric Latiff and the presenter Ndu Okoh. That show dealt in current affairs, politics and social issues, and it often opened with a proverb that set the tone for the day.

Radio Generation announced him on 29 July 2025, a few months after Latiff left Spice FM. He came in as a guest host on The People's Breakfast, the station's first morning show, alongside Munga'la Mbuvi and Patriciah Wayua. The format is unusual for Kenyan breakfast radio. It is talk only, with no music breaks and news only at the top of the hour. Muga was expected to lead the show's socio-economic and political analysis.

Away from the microphone, Muga is a political strategist and was once a high school teacher. Listeners know him for debate, humour and culturally rooted proverbs, and he comments often on Kenyan democracy on social media. Radio Generation is owned by Sharp Generation Media Ltd and also broadcasts on 90.7 FM in Mombasa, 92.1 FM in Malindi, 92.6 FM in Lamu and 89.5 FM in Garissa.
