Munga'la Mbuvi

Munga'la Mbuvi is a host of The People's Breakfast, the morning talk show on Radio Generation that runs from 6am to 10am on 88.8 FM in Nairobi. He was on the show when it launched as the station's first breakfast programme in 2025, and he was still presenting it in October 2026, when Radio Generation streamed an episode billed as The People's Breakfast with Mung'ala Mbuvi and CT Muga.

When CT Muga joined in late July 2025, the station introduced the line-up as Munga'la Mbuvi, Tricia Wayua and CT Muga, "serving real talk and bold truth" from 6am to 10am. Patriciah Wayua was named at that launch, but later episodes credit only Mbuvi and Muga, so it is unclear whether she is still on the show.

The People's Breakfast does not sound like most Kenyan breakfast shows. It is talk only, with no music breaks, and news bulletins come only at the top of the hour. That suits a station whose slogan is "Home of Hard Truths and Bold Insights" and whose output leans towards politics, county affairs and current events. Episodes are streamed live on video through the station's YouTube channel as well as on FM.

Radio Generation is owned by Sharp Generation Media Ltd, founded by Ahmed Hassan, and is based on George Padmore Road in Nairobi. Beyond Nairobi it broadcasts on 90.7 FM in Mombasa, 92.1 FM in Malindi, 92.6 FM in Lamu and 89.5 FM in Garissa. Little has been published about Mbuvi's earlier career.
