Jacob Mulee

Jacob 'Ghost' Mulee co-hosts Gidi na Ghost Asubuhi, Radio Jambo's weekday breakfast show, with Joseph 'Gidi' Ogidi. He was still on the show in May and August 2026.

Away from radio, Mulee is a football coach. He has had five spells in charge of Kenya's Harambee Stars, first in 2003 to 2004, which included the 2004 Africa Cup of Nations, and most recently from October 2020 until September 2021. He coached Tusker between 1999 and 2009, winning the Kenyan Premier League three times, and also managed APR of Rwanda and Young Africans of Tanzania.

His interest in sport goes back to school. He played at St Michael's Primary and then at Ofafa Jericho High School, where he played both as a striker and as a goalkeeper and captained the school team.

On radio, the show's Patanisho segment, where the hosts try to reconcile callers with estranged partners or relatives live on air, is its signature. In November 2025 Gidi and Ghost reached 17 years of Patanisho. In 2026 an Ipsos survey found that six in ten Nairobians listen to the show.
