East FM on 106.3 FM
East FM is the Nairobi station that Kenya's Asian community tunes to for Bollywood hits, South Asian pop and talk about community life. It broadcasts on 106.3 FM and calls itself Kenya's premier Asian mix.
The station is run alongside the Radio Africa Group. According to the Communications Authority's June 2026 register, the licence belongs to Metro East FM Limited and was granted on 16 November 2023, valid for a decade. Metro East FM Limited uses the same Nairobi postal address as Radio Africa Limited. Building the playlist around Asian music gives East FM a clear niche in the capital.
August 2019 brought the first East FM Star Awards, staged at Diamond Plaza II in Parklands. The evening honoured listeners and nominees, featured the Indian singer Taz of Stereo Nation, and was attended by Patrick Quarcoo, then Radio Africa's chief executive. Piyush Shah was named as the station's vice chairman.

Radio Jangwani on 106.3 FM
Radio Jangwani is the Catholic Diocese of Marsabit's radio station, on 106.3 FM for listeners across Marsabit County. Jangwani means 'in the desert', a fair description of the dry north where it broadcasts.
The station went on air on 26 January 2016. It broadcasts in four languages: Kiswahili, Borana, Turkana and Samburu. That mix reflects Marsabit's communities, and lets the station speak to pastoralist families in their own languages instead of relying on Kiswahili alone, whether they live in Marsabit town or out on the grazing lands.
Its programming has three main strands. One is evangelisation, with Catholic teaching and worship. The second is peace-building between Marsabit's communities, using the shared airwaves to carry messages of reconciliation. The third is community dialogue, giving local people a platform to discuss the issues that affect them.
