Radio Tumaini on 93.0 FM
Radio Tumaini is the Catholic Archdiocese of Mombasa's community radio station, broadcasting in Swahili to listeners in Mombasa, Kilifi, Kwale and Taita Taveta counties.
Archbishop Martin Kivuva launched it in September 2016 at the Bura shrine in Taita Taveta. Launching in Taita Taveta, rather than in Mombasa city, matched the station's brief to cover all four of its target counties, from the island to the inland parishes.
Radio Tumaini is part of the growing family of diocesan Catholic stations in Kenya, alongside stations such as Radio Waumini in Nairobi, Mitume Radio in Kitale and Radio Jangwani in Marsabit.
