Cyd Wambui co-hosts Morning Kiss, the breakfast show on Radio Africa Group's Kiss 100.
Cyd Wambui co-hosts Morning Kiss, the breakfast show on Radio Africa Group's Kiss 100. Since 20 April 2026 her co-host has been Jeremy Wahome, whom the station brought in to inject new energy into its breakfast programming.
She has been on the show through a busy year. In February 2026 "Muchina and Cyd" were the Morning Kiss presenters taking calls from couples for the station's Valentine's promotion. Two months later Radio Africa unveiled Wahome to join Wambui on the morning show. It is not clear whether Muchina Maloba stayed on the programme after that.
Kiss 100 was her first media job. She joined in 2021 as co-host of the Kiss drive show alongside Chito Ndhlovu, and has said that she signed her contract on her 25th birthday after about two years of looking for media work since graduating. She said she grew up listening to Caroline Mutoko, who made her name on the same station, and used to imitate her voice.
Kiss 100 turned 25 in 2026 and targets listeners aged 18 to 24. A GeoPoll survey in August 2026 put its national audience at about 9.5 million.
