Dorah Manya

Dorah Manya is a co-host of Zinga, the weekday breakfast show on KBC Radio Taifa, the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation's national Kiswahili station on 92.9 FM in Nairobi. She presents it with Rashid Mwamkondo.

Zinga is Radio Taifa's flagship morning show. It is scheduled for 6am to 10am on weekdays, though in 2025 it was said to start at 5am, so the start time may have shifted. The pair have presented Zinga together since at least early 2024 and were still named as its hosts in August 2025.

The show follows a talk format. Manya and Mwamkondo pick a topic of the day and open the phone lines so listeners can add their views, mixing information and education with lighter entertainment. The show places weight on education, in keeping with Radio Taifa's role as the public broadcaster's Kiswahili service, a station known for the standard Kiswahili it uses on air.

Radio Taifa carries the slogan Sauti ya Mkenya and reaches well beyond Nairobi, on 100.8 FM in Mombasa, 104.5 FM in Kisumu, 104.1 FM in Nakuru, 88.6 FM in Eldoret and 87.6 FM in Nyeri. After Zinga, the weekday schedule moves to Majadiliano ya Taifa from 11am and Reggae Vibes in the early afternoon. The 2026 line-up has not been confirmed, so treat this as the latest known line-up rather than a certainty.
