June Gachui

June Gachui is a Capital FM presenter who co-hosts The Jam, the station's weekday drive show, with Martin Kariuki. Capital FM's October 2026 schedule lists The Jam from 3pm to 6.30pm, Monday to Thursday. On Fridays the afternoon slot becomes The Boyz Live with Charles and Martin, from 3pm to 7pm.

She joined Capital FM in February 2021 as part of a relaunch that the station called "Drive Inn, Drive Out". At the time she was set to present The Jam with Martin Kariuki from Monday to Thursday, then from 3pm to 7pm. The same pairing is still on air more than five years later, with the show now ending at 6.30pm.

Gachui came to radio from the performing arts. The 2021 announcement described her as a performing artiste, singer-songwriter, actor and aspiring dancer, with more than two decades of involvement in music, theatre and the arts. She had also spoken at events such as Engage Kenya. The station said she wanted to help bring radio back to the centre of the entertainment industry.

The Jam follows Radio Active with the Capital FM Mixxmasters and leads into the evening programming, so for many Nairobi listeners she is the voice of the drive home. Her education and birth date are not publicly known, so those are left blank here.
