Lydia Akoth

Lydia Akoth presents Mos Gi Tich, the weekday drive show on Ramogi FM, Royal Media Services' Dholuo station. The Media Council of Kenya's Media Observer newsletter named her as the show's presenter in February 2026. The programme runs from 4pm to 7pm, Monday to Friday.

Royal Media describes Mos Gi Tich as a drive programme packed with news, reviews, music, sports updates and business news. Its theme is Pole kwa Kazi, or Pole kwa Janta, and the presenter leans on calm, soothing music to help listeners wind down after a hard day.

Like the station's breakfast team, Akoth's show reaches beyond the FM dial. The Media Observer piece reports that Ramogi FM's morning and afternoon presenters now livestream their programmes on TikTok, so listeners can see guest interviews and studio moments, comment while the show runs and ask questions directly. Short clips from the show are then posted to bring new listeners back to the live broadcast.

Ramogi FM speaks mainly to the Luo community but describes its audience as anyone who enjoys Dholuo music, culture and talk. The station is on 107.1 FM in Nairobi and 107.6 FM in Kisumu, with further frequencies in Siaya, Homa Bay, Migori, Mombasa and Nakuru. Mos Gi Tich hands over at 7pm to Ang'ich Welo, the station's easy evening show.
