Ramogi FM

Ramogi FM is Royal Media Services' Dholuo station, made for Luo listeners in Nyanza, Nairobi and beyond. In Nairobi it is on 107.1 FM, and the network covers the Lake Region from Kisumu, Siaya, Homa Bay and Migori.

Royal Media describes Ramogi as Kenya's leading Dholuo station, with the biggest reach and listening share across the Lake Region. On air the slogan 'Kar Chuny Jaluo' translates as 'the desires of the Luo', and the programming is built around Luo culture, values and identity. Royal Media adds that it draws listeners from outside the community who simply enjoy Dholuo music.

As of 2015, the core audience was adult men and women from about 20 to 45 and older. They were served news, sport, call-in talk and a music mix of benga and lingala.

Weekday mornings belong to Kogwen, the current affairs show that runs from 5am to 10am. It is followed by Wang Onyango in mid-morning, the youth programme Donse Donse, the drive show Mos Gi Tich and Ang'ich Welo in the evening. Weekends add Kogalo Time, a weekly magazine about Gor Mahia, the nostalgia show Benga Ramogi, Kogwen Sabato for Sabbath listeners and Wapuonjre Dholuo on Sundays, which teaches the language.
