Muthoni wa Kirumba

Muthoni wa Kirumba, also known as Baby Top, is a Kameme FM presenter who co-hosts Canjamuka, the station's mid-morning talk show, with Chef Gathemba. Canjamuka is an interactive programme on current affairs, social issues and family matters, and it leans heavily on listener calls. Its mix of entertainment and social discussion draws a wide audience.

She was born Gladys Muthoni Njoroge in 1989 and comes from Nyandarua County, though she has said she spent part of her early years in Mombasa. After secondary school she studied Mass Communication and Journalism. Her radio career began in 2011 at Bahasha FM, and she moved to Kameme FM soon after, where she first hosted an afternoon show before switching to mid-mornings in 2016 alongside the comedian Kihenjo.

In June 2022 she announced she was leaving Kameme after 12 years. By mid-2026, however, she was a Kameme presenter again, back in the mid-morning slot on Canjamuka, and she was named Female Radio Presenter of the Year at the 2025 Starbrands East Africa Awards.

Her following reaches well beyond the studio. She runs live events and roadshows, promotes Mugithi music and posts regularly for a large social media audience, and she has worked as a brand ambassador for Starbrands and Dama Mobile Spares.
