Ndambuki was born on 30 October 1977 in Kitui and later moved to Machakos. He studied at Mumbuni High School and then took a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication at Daystar University. He moved to Nairobi in 1990 to live with an uncle.
Most Kenyans first knew him from television. Early in his career he worked with comedians KJ, Kajairo, Mdomo Baggy and Nyambane on the TV comedy Red Kona. He then created and hosted Churchill Show, a stand-up and interview programme that returned to NTV in 2024 after a spell on TV47. He has been credited with helping take Kenyan stand-up comedy into the mainstream.
His radio partnership with Kageni has lasted well over a decade. By 2020 the show had been popular for more than 15 years. He is not known to have left it, but his 2026 slot has not been confirmed, so treat it as likely.
