Nick Odhiambo

Nick Odhiambo is a radio presenter and voice actor who co-hosts the Hot 96 breakfast show with Cynthia Mwangi. The pair took over the morning slot on 9 February 2026, when Royal Media Services moved Jeff Koinange and Patrick Igunza to drive.

This is his second spell on Hot 96 breakfast. He first joined the station in 2021 as Jeff Koinange's co-host, and in 2022 he said the two had met in 2010, when Koinange was impressed by how closely he could mimic his voice. Odhiambo is the voice of "Keff Joinange", a news-anchor character on The XYZ Show that parodies Koinange. He said the Hot 96 producer invited him and others from XYZ to the studio, and he was later told he would be Koinange's new co-host.

His radio career started in 2006 at Radio Africa's Classic 105, where he was interviewed by Maina Kageni, trained for two weeks and given a late-night show. He said he was told early on to speak louder because his voice was too soft. He later moved to Standard Group's Radio Maisha before joining Royal Media.

Outside radio he has built a voice-over business, which he counted among his main milestones. He has also spoken about learning to handle online criticism and keeping personal problems out of the studio, because the job demands that you entertain every day.
