Pamela Kadima

Pamela Kadima is the host of Bukha Bushiere, the weekday breakfast show on Mulembe FM, Royal Media Services' Luhya language station. She took over the morning slot on 9 February 2026, when Royal Media reshuffled presenters across several of its radio brands.

Before the move, Kadima was a familiar evening voice. A January 2021 Media Council of Kenya monitoring report listed her as co-host of Kalakala, the 4pm to 8pm drive show, alongside Deacon Shifalango. In the 2026 shake-up she swapped places with Omar Bakuli, who left breakfast for the drive show. RMS radio director Fred Afune said the changes were meant to give fans a side of their favourite presenters they had never heard before.

Bukha Bushiere runs from 6am to 10am and is Mulembe FM's main current affairs programme. Royal Media says its aim is to mobilise listeners around development activities, with less focus on politics. Regular segments include Atse at 6:45am, where listeners call in about bad habits in the community, and Eshikhalo from 7:30am, a joint analysis with journalists from Mulembe FM and Vuuka FM. Mununjiro, a talk show with politicians, experts and opinion leaders, airs from Tuesday to Friday.

Mulembe FM broadcasts on 99.0 FM and 99.2 FM in Western Kenya, 95.8 FM in Eldoret and 97.9 FM in Nairobi.
