Tina Ogal

Tina Ogal is a Radio Citizen presenter who co-hosts Jambo Kenya, the station's Swahili breakfast show, with Abdi Munai and Kuka Kisondio. She moved to mornings on 9 February 2026, when Royal Media Services reshuffled presenters across its stations and swapped the Radio Citizen breakfast and drive teams.

For most of her Radio Citizen career she was known for the evening drive show with Abdi Munai (also called Munai Generali). By 2024 that partnership had lasted about 16 years, in the 4pm to 7pm slot, and she had been made Acting Head of Radio. She joined Royal Media in 2004. Before that she worked as a presenter at Waumini FM from 2001 to 2004 and did voice-over work for KBC in 2002. She has also stood in as a guest host on Roga Roga on Citizen TV.

Ogal studied at the University of Nairobi, where she earned a bachelor's degree in political science and government and later a master's degree in diplomacy (2021 to 2023).

In April 2026 she joined the ODM party and declared interest in the Embakasi East parliamentary seat ahead of the 2027 general election. She is not known to have left her radio role, but listeners should expect that her on-air position could change as the election period approaches.
