Radio Maisha is the Standard Group's Kiswahili station, broadcasting to Nairobi on 102.7 FM with a mix of news, current affairs, talk and music for a national Swahili-speaking audience. It went on air in 2010. The studios are on Mombasa Road in Nairobi, inside the Standard Group Centre, alongside The Standard newspaper and KTN.

The station grew quickly. By its sixth birthday it had climbed into the top tier of Kenyan stations by audience. A relaunch in June 2013 reshaped much of the sound. In 2024, as it marked 14 years, Radio Maisha moved to an audio-visual format, putting its studios live on YouTube and Facebook so listeners can watch presenters as well as hear them.

Several well-known names have passed through. Billy Miya hosted the breakfast show Maisha Asubuhi, and from October 2018 he was joined by comedian Francis Munyao, better known as MCA Tricky, who was starting out in radio and later left for Milele FM in 2020. Nick Odhiambo crossed over from Classic 105 in May 2017 and spent about four years on a rhumba show, a slot later rebranded #RhumbaRepublik under Titi Nagwalla. Line-ups have shifted a lot since then, so treat these as past rather than current shows.

Sister stations in the group are Spice FM in English and Berur FM in Kalenjin. Away from Nairobi, it is on 105.1 FM in Mombasa and 105.3 FM in Kisumu. You can also stream Radio Maisha live here or on the Standard's website.
