Barbra Koinange

Barbra Koinange presents Praise Break, the gospel programme that opens the day on Nation FM from 4am to 6am, Monday to Friday. She also fronts Praise Break Reloaded, the longer Sunday morning version that runs from 6am to 10am and mixes gospel music with conversation about faith and everyday life.

She joined Nation FM in May 2025, when the station brought in a new weekday line-up that also included Claudia Naisabwa on mid-mornings, Shatta Bway at night and a new drive-time team. Before that she was a presenter at Pearl Radio, a Christian station, which she left in April 2025. In her farewell message she described the station as a place where she had grown and found healing, and thanked its directors for the chance to serve.

Nation FM continued to promote her shows through late 2025, and the station's published schedule still lists Praise Break in the 4am slot and Praise Break Reloaded on Sunday mornings. No change to either show has been announced, so the times above are the ones currently listed.

Outside radio she is reported to run a small business making organic scented candles, which she has spoken about on air. Praise Break is the first voice many early commuters hear on 96.3, and it leads straight into Fixing the Nation at 6am.
