Fellaris Wambui

Fellaris Wambui is a co-host of Fixing the Nation, the Nation Media Group breakfast programme carried on Nation FM and NTV from 6am to 10am every weekday. She joined in April 2026, taking over the seat Janet Mbugua had held for just over a year.

Before that she was on Capital FM, where she presented Capital in the Morning with Chiko Lawi. Her last Capital FM show aired on 2 April 2026. On breakfast she led conversations on governance, policy, the economy and regional affairs, and she was known to listeners as the station's "Breakfast Queen". She also worked on The Financial Forecast.

Her move was announced on air. During her final segment on 17 April 2026, Mbugua introduced Wambui as her replacement and asked the audience to welcome her. Wambui said she was stepping into big shoes, and that each person has a part to play in fixing the country. She now sits alongside Eric Latiff, formerly of Spice FM, and Mariam Bishar, who moved across from Nation FM's Morning Fix.

Wambui came to broadcasting after more than a decade in marketing, public relations and corporate communications, much of it in the construction and manufacturing sectors. She studied law at the Catholic University of Eastern Africa and public relations at Daystar University. Fixing the Nation focuses on issues affecting Kenyans, with expert guests and calls from the public, and it runs on radio, TV and Nation's digital platforms at the same time.
