Mkamburi Chigogo is a Radio 47 presenter who moved from the breakfast show to her own mid-morning programme, Mchikicho. Her full name is Alice Mkamburi Chigogo, and on air she answers to Mkash or BBG.
She was part of the station's first line-up in March 2023. Radio 47's launch schedule put her on Breakfast 47 with Emmanuel Mwashumbe from 6am to 10am, and on Saturdays she had Sato Vibe from 11am to 3pm, a weekend music and chat show with a hits countdown.
That arrangement lasted five months. When Alex Mwakideu joined from Milele FM in late August 2023 he took her seat on the morning show. On 29 August she posted that she would miss working with Mwashumbe, and she was moved to host Mchikicho alone on weekdays from 10am to 1pm.
She is a digital media strategist and voice-over artist as well as a presenter, and was born at Kenyatta National Hospital in Nairobi. She once left a salaried job to start an entertainment blog. Radio 47 still counted her among its presenters in 2025, but her current show and time slot have not been confirmed for 2026.
